Aesha Shapiro

Aesha Shapiro founded Ladies Artisan Market (LAM) in 2016 and the Whole Business Woman Academy (WBWA) in 2020. She has been a speaker on many stages since and was honored as the SBA Women in Business Champion in 2022 for the County of Hawaii and the Women Who Mean Business Award from Pacific Business News Magazine. 

Born and raised on Hawaii Island, Aesha felt compelled to build a community where women entrepreneurs can support, promote and inspire one another. She continues to be fiercely driven by a desire to uplift and support women-owned businesses in everything she creates.  

As a business owner and a solo mother with a son diagnosed with Prader-Willi Syndrome, Aesha has dedicated her work to empowering women in business and helping others succeed. Aesha has orchestrated multiple successful events and fundraisers to benefit those in her community and other nonprofits that support those in need.

In 2020 the needs of the LAM community changed drastically. In response, Aesha created and launched The Whole Business Woman Academy: an annual business development program delivered in monthly modules. The Academy offers expert education in current business & marketing practices provided by accomplished businesswomen. 

LAM’s networking group and the business academy are amid a complete rebranding with a new name: Launch Your Fempire. This rebranding now reflects its inclusion of ALL female entrepreneurs and its global reach. Additionally, Aesha launched an international online business directory for women called the Fempire Finder in early March.
