Jana Lam

Jana Lam is a textile designer, artist, boss and mom, born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii. With the help of her small, amazing team she hand draws/designs, screen prints her own fabric and sews it into unique, brightly-colored, high quality accessories.

After going to college in North Carolina, and living in New York City, she studied Interior Architecture and Design at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco.  It was there that she discovered her passion for screen-printing, and decided to pursue it in whatever way possible. She moved back home to Honolulu in 2010 and within a few months JANA LAM the brand was born. After working for years out of her home on the beach on the east side of Oahu, in early 2018 she opened up her first work/retail shop, located in Kakaako. Since then her brand has continued to grow and now operates out of two facilities- the Jana Lam Studio down the street from her old location, and the Jana Lam Shop in South Shore Market at Ward. Her mission is to bring happiness and joy and pride to people and the community through color and design.
