Native Hawaiian business owner, Tiana Gamble has been inspiring and empowering her teams, her clients and her community since she started in the workforce. Tiana began her career in sales working for various fashion and surf industry brands at the young age of 14. In 2002, she was recruited to the design team of a fast-growing action sports company where she moved her way through the ranks and landed a position on the executive team as an International Merchandising and Design Director.
After years of the corporate hustle and honing in on her entrepreneurial spirit, she decided to move back to her hometown of Honolulu, Hawaiʻi to be closer to family and start one of her own. Her sales and design career continued to drive her forward, but it was Hawaiʻi that inspired her next move. The aspirational beach lifestyle was natural to a local, but Tiana saw it as a compelling way to connect with potential consumers and in 2010 she launched the Bikinibird blog and became an early leading influencer in the swimwear industry.
Bikinibird quickly garnered a fanbase of over 40,000 subscribers. In 2014, shortly after delivering her daughter Zoe, Bikinibird became an e-commerce swimwear boutique which now has 5 brick and mortar stores throughout the Hawaiian islands. Being the ambitious business leader that she is, in 2017, only days after delivering her second daughter Loulou, she acquired Creative Design Hawaiʻi, a promotional merchandise and marketing organization that has since achieved significant growth.
As President and CEO of Creative Design Hawaiʻi and Bikinibird, Tiana relies on her intuition, sales, fashion, and design expertise to position her company as a style innovator in the luxury hotel industry and in the merchandise and marketing space. She prioritizes supporting local non profit organizations and is laser focused on bringing in as many sustainable products and local vendors into her different companies offerings. Headquartered in Honolulu, she leads a talented team of associates, designers and merchandise experts working with clients all over North America.
